VP RACING PRESENTS WEEKEND WARRIOR RACING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP POWERED BY FASTRAK UPDATE – JEREMY PILKERTON CLIMBS BACK INTO THE TOP SPOT IN $10,000 TO WIN FASTRAK NATIONAL POINTS CHASE

Richmond, KY – In a seesaw battle for the VP Racing presents Weekend Warrior Racing National Championship powered by FASTRAK Racing national championship, Jeremy Pilkerton of Loveville, MD, climbs back into the top spot in the national point standings with 438 points. He holds a slim two-point lead over Luke Hyre of Rock Cave, WV (436 points), heading into this weekend’s racing action.

Rounding out the top five in Weekend Warrior Racing National Championship points are Chani Currence (410 points), Noah Whited (387 points), and Dave Loudin 373 points).

Sixth through tenth, respectfully, are Ronald Pyles (362 points), Billy Hubbard (354 points), Bud Stinson (337 points), Chad Green (330 points), and Davis Lipscombe (321 points).

Elkins Raceway August 19, 2023, Recap: Chad Green of Wendel, WV, scored the win over Hayden Jacobs of Bridgeport, WV. Track point leader Luke Hyre finished sixth.

Virginia Motor Speedway August 19, 2023, Recap: The speedway ran Twin 17’s on Route 17 with Corey Almond of Appomattox, VA, holding off Billy Hubbard of Cobbs Creek, VA, to take the win in the first Twin 17 lap feature. In the second 17-lap feature, Derek Magee of Millsboro, DE, held off a hard-charging Billy Hubbard for the win. Track points leader Jeremy Pilkerton finished fourth and seventh, respectively.
