FASTRAK WEEKEND WARRIOR RACING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE - LUKE HYRE CLOSES GAP ON BRENT TREMBLE IN $20,000 TO WIN FASTRAK NATIONAL POINTS CHASE

Carnesville, Georgia - Heading into week eighteen of Weekend Warrior Racing National Championship racing, the one question on everyone’s mind was, can anyone catch Brent Trimble in the national points chase. After a disappointing weekend of racing for Trimble, Luke Hyre has closed the gap to 36 points. Trimble of Morgantown, WV, still sits atop the $20,000 to win National Championship with 814 points. Trimble scored a win this past weekend at Roaring Knob Motorsports Park.

Luke Hyre of Rock Cave, WV continues to hold down the second spot with 778 points, rounding out the top five in Weekend Warrior Racing National Championship points are Kyle Lukon (560), Lane Brock (472 points), and Chandi Currance (469 points).

Sixth through tenth, respectfully, are Lucas McDonald (368), Sparky Davidson (344), Noah Whited (301), Derrick Shaw (297), and Michael Moreland (290).
