BRENT TRIMBLE WINS FASTRACK RACING'S $20,000 TO WIN WEEKEND WARRIOR RACING WEEKLY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Carnesville, Georgia - When FASTRAK Racing owner/promoter Stan Lester announced that the 2022 Weekend Warrior Racing National Championship would pay $20,000 to the Champion, Morgantown, WV's Brent Trimble knew he had to take a swing at winning the title. That journey led him to one of his best years of racing and winning the Weekend Warrior Racing national championship.

"When FASTRAK announced they were going to put up the $20,000, I was like, I'm going to try for it, cause we really not completely tried for it, but when with the $20,000 announcement I said I'm going to give it a shot," commented Trimble.

Trimble added, "It worked out good for us; we had an excellent year and won a lot of races. The $20,000, that just helps out with racing so much, with the cost of everything right now."

Trimble spent his weekends racing at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, PA, and Elkins Raceway in Kerens, WV, picking up twelve (12) FASTRAK-sanctioned wins in twenty-five (25) race nights. Saying it was a successful year would be an understatement. Trimble's 2022 statistics, including FASTRAK and non-FASTRAK sanctioned events, show what a fantastic year his team had, with fifteen (15) total wins, twenty-eight (28) top 5's, and twenty-nine top 10's. Trimble did not have one DNF, and seven (7) of his wins were special events.

"I had a lot of people that help me, and it takes a lot of pressure off me; my wife does a lot for me, too, with the racing stuff, and John (car owner) takes care of the car and anything I need he just tells me to get it and doesn't question anything I do. Winning the Championship is big, and I am proud to be the sanctions national champion," said Trimble when asked about the people who helped him win the Championship.

Trimble's #32 Rocket Chassis carried sponsorship from WG Motorsports, Nu-Finish Collision Center, J-Bar Services, Top Notch Kustom Konceptz, Eagle Racing Engines, and FK Rod Ends.

"Brent Trimble is not only a fantastic driver but also an outstanding individual. We are honored to have him represent us as our Weekend Warrior Racing National Champion," commented FASTRAK owner Stan Lester.

Trimble and the rest of the top 10 in national points will be honored at the 2022 Weekend Warrior Racing national banquet held on January 28, 2023, at the Black Fox Lodge in Pigeon Forge, TN. Fans, drivers, tracks, sponsors, and engine builders are welcome to attend. Admission is $40 per person, including meal.
