West Virginia Venue Returns FASTRAK Sanctioning for 2020
Carnesville, GA – Princeton Speedway in Princeton, WV will be returning as FASTRAK Weekly sanctioned for the 2020 season. The 4/10-mile oval is one of the longest running FASTRAK sanctioned tracks. Melvin and Sherlene Bishop will be opening the track, running on a bi-weekly basis for the 2020 season.
“Princeton Speedway and FASTRAK have become like family,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “I am certainly looking forward to our stops there this season. The racing at Princeton is excellent and there are a lot of talented drivers in that area.”
The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will be making two visits to Princeton Speedway in 2020; as part of the FASTRAK Triple Crown on Memorial Day Weekend in May and the 10th Annual UBB Miner’s Memorial in August.
FASTRAK drivers will be able to gain points for the FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship at Princeton Speedway throughout the season. Opening night is slated for April 18th.
“The Triple Crown is always a thrilling weekend and the finale being at Princeton should make for a dramatic race,” continued Irvine, “and the UBB Miner’s Memorial race is such a special race to the community, we are truly blessed to be a part of it.”
