FASTRAK's Lake View Motor Speedway debut canceled

Officials with the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance and Lake View Motor Speedway have announced that the tour’s $2,000 to win race scheduled for August 29 is canceled. The race would have been the tour’s first ever visit to the Nichols, SC oval. The cancellation is a result of current guidelines restricting attendance at Lake View Motor Speedway.

“Scott Tripp and I had a long conversation and the current restrictions left us with no choice but to cancel the race,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “We do plan to bring FASTRAK to Lake View Motor Speedway in 2021.”

The FASTRAK Racing Series powered Chevrolet Performance’s next event is a doubleheader slated for September 5 and 6 at Tyler County Speedway as part o fthe Hillbilly Hundred weekend. Each race is $2,000 to win and $250 to start.

Matt Long currently holds the point lead by one point over Layton Sullivan. Corey Almond is currently third with Justin Wofford fourth. Dillon Brown rounds out the top five.
