FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship update
Braeden Dillinger continues to hold the top spot in the FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship with a weekend that saw a Friday win at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex, a runner-up at Latrobe Speedway, and a second-place finish again at Roaring Knob on Sunday. Luke Hyre, the 2019 FASTRAK Future Stars Cup winner, has moved into second by way of two fourth-place finishes and a fifth-place finish over the weekend. Corey Almond, who remained idle, is currently third. Ron Geehring, with a second-place finish at Toccoa Raceway, moves into the fourth spot. Derrick Shaw, who won at Elkins Raceway, round out the top five.
Troy Shields picked up his first win of 2020 at Latrobe Speedway on Saturday. Trey Watson was victorious at Tyler County Speedway. Frankie Beard bested the field at Toccoa Raceway. Ryan Frazee was the winner on Sunday at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex.
The FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship will continue through Labor Day, taking all drivers’ best eight finishes. The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will be at Ohio Valley Speedway on Friday, August 7 and I-77 Speedway on Saturday, August 8. Both will be opportunities for drivers to earn points toward the FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship.
