FASTRAK Companies International, LLC has signed on Big O Speedway in Ennis, Texas as its newest member track of the FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship, beginning in 2021.

Big O Speedway is a 1/4 mile, semi-banked, clay oval dirt track opened in 1985 and is promoted by Jim Moon. This is the first track in the Lone Star State, so far, as the FASTRAK Racing Series continues to grow throughout the country.

“We have been talking with Jim for a while and are pleased to have him come on board as part of our weekly series,” said FASTRAK Vice President, DJ Irvine. “This is a great addition to what we are looking to achieve for the future of FASTRAK and its weekly program. Jim runs a great operation and has a very competitive place there at Big O Speedway.”

Everyone at FASTRAK is pleased to welcome the Pro Late Model drivers and teams of Big O to the FASTRAK family. Pro Late Model drivers at Big O Speedway will be competing for their share of the track’s $10,000 total point fund. All drivers who sign up as FASTRAK members will be eligible for the FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship points fund. Additionally, all members receive $100,000 of participant accident medical insurance through Mutual of Omaha.

“Once we started talking to FASTRAK and saw the advantage for our racers regarding their rules, tires and points programs we knew this was a great move for our Pro Late Model teams here at Big O Speedway,” Moon said.

FASTRAK Companies International, LLC still has some openings to add weekly tracks and marketing partners for the 2021 season.

The FASTRAK Racing Series only allows sealed 604 and 602 engines in competition. FASTRAK utilizes the Hoosier FT200 and Hoosier FT400 tires, which are the longest lasting spec tires on the market. FASTRAK, alongside AFCO, has developed an optional "crate spec shock" that retails for $197. Drivers using the AFCO Crate Spec Shocks are given a weight break. The 2020 FASTRAK Racing Series rule book can be accessed on the FASTRAK website, as well as through FASTRAK's new mobile app.
