Jun 26, 2009 - FASTRAK LATE MODELS TO “PARADE” THROUGH DOWNTOWN HARTWELL GEORGIA!

Like in the ‘days of old’ FASTRAK brings something back to its founder’s hometown of Hartwell GA. The fast growing late model sanctioning group will treat race fans and Hartwell citizens to the first ever “Fourth of July Parade Of Late Models.” After holding a driver autograph session at Hartwell’s McDonalds, from 1:00 – 3:00PM on the Fourth of July, the high powered FASTRAK Late Models will proceed in “parade” fashion through the city of Hartwell GA, along US Highway 29.
Remember the days when a racing series would come to a local track and the cars would be displayed everywhere in town? Then as they readied themselves for the race event, the cars would parade through town on the open trailers, leading everyone to the local track. - Read More

"I want people to know what this program is all about," stated FASTRAK's Stan Lester. "If I were still driving, I know I would certainly appreciate the opportunity to drive one before I considered buying one. We want people to come out and sit behind the wheel. We are very proud of this program and want to share it with everyone we can. We can use the imput from everyone, as well. Our goal is to make this the best program it possibly can possibily be for the drivers, owners and tracks."
Fans and race teams are welcome to come out see the 550-car and experience the test after the main events are finished on Saturday night.

Jun 18, 2009 - FASTRAK Set To Make July SIZZLE Over 4 States

CARNESVILLE, GA. (June-17) FASTRAK drivers, owners and teams, are set to make July sizzle across four states as they vie for some of the largest purses of the summer. The purses, already guaranteed for the mid-summer events, add up to a cool $70,000 and change. One red hot team could possibly take home the entire $18,000 winner’s bundle. They only have to get on that once in a lifetime roll and win all five races in a row.
Starting on Friday, July 3rd at Modoc Speedway in South Carolina, FASTRAK will keep the Crate Late Model standard set high, with a $3000 to win event to kick–off the month. FASTRAK’s last visit to Modoc, for the historical “Modoc 100”, ended in a new attendance record for the track, as well as a new high water mark in late model entries, 67. Expectations are high for another record breaking crowd and car count during the return trip to the Modoc clay, as they celebrate 25 Years of racing. - Read More

FASTRAK Racing Series
FASTRAK and the Economy
Attendance and Car Counts Way Up
2009 FASTRAK Racing Series. All rights reserved
Carnesville, GA (June-5) On the surface, as the 2009 racing season approached, virtually every level of the motorsports community was as deeply entrenched in their respective preparations for the birth of the 2009 season in quite the same fashion as previous years. To those who truly have a passion for the sport, the transition from winter to spring is not earmarked by the arrival of March 21st, but instead by opening day at the local track of choice. Arguably, this is where similarities end in comparison to years passed.. - Read More
