Carnesville, Georgia – As the 2012 season begins to get rolling the FASTRAK Racing Series is proud to announce several additions to the great list of product and service partners for the series. “It is a blessing to have these great companies willing to align themselves with FASTRAK. We are very happy to have them on board with us as every single thing that we can get for our racers adds value to the series and makes it more attractive for racers to come and race with us. We have worked hard this off-season to add these new sponsors and we aren’t finished yet. We still anticipate adding more before our first FASTRAK Southeast / Mid-East point event at Cleveland County Speedway in late March. We will hopefully make those announcements in the next couple of weeks.” said FASTRAK CEO and Founder Stan Lester.

Series Director Kelley Carlton adds that the quality of the products and services were also carefully considered before approaching a potential partner. “We want our guys to be using the best products on the market and getting services from the highest rated service companies. I think with what we have added so far we have succeeded in offering our racers just that. In fact many of them were actually recommended to us by our racers. We have had a great response from everyone we have approached and we are proud to add all these folks to our sponsor list.” Carlton said.

The FASTRAK Racing Series known as the “Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country” is happy to announce that Tiger Rear Ends, R2C Performance Filters, Hooker Harness, Cool Shirt, Arizona Sport Shirts, Five Star Bodies, Kooks Headers, Envy Suspension and Sisco Fire & Safety have all joined the series for the 2012 season.

Since its inception in 2002, Tiger Quick Change Rear Ends has used cutting edge technology to design and manufacture the highest quality strength to weight ratio rear ends possible. After dedicating years to building its reputation as one of the most esteemed and trusted rear ends on the racetrack, Tiger Quick Change founder Gerald Williams sold the company in 2007. In early May 2011, Williams announced that he had repurchased the company and moved Tiger Quick Change to its new home in Mt. Ulla, North Carolina. Each Tiger Quick Change is built for racers by racers with the highest standards of quality and workmanship. The entire staff now has the ability and drive to advance Tiger to a new height, and is dedicated to improve the service by focusing on satisfying all of the valued customers who have made Tiger Quick Change the benchmark in today’s quick change market.

Ater extensive track and lab air flow evaluation, our engineers have created an exclusive competition air filter design that provides the finest distribution profile over the base radius. R2C patent-pending and proprietary air filters feature an offset media that significantly improves air flow in high demand applications.

R2C advanced high performance air filter technology provides that deep, flag-to-flag power while also providing unmatched engine protection. R2C filters help race teams maintain the best leak down numbers, eliminate unnecessary cylinder wall and combustion chamber wear and also prevent engine oil breakdown caused by particulate ingestion. While not often necessary, R2C filters are fully washable using spray-on or by soaking in biodegradable cleaners such as Simple Green, etc., R2C Dirt Late Model synthetic air filters are cleaned trackside with low pressure compressed air and are the longest lasting filters in the business. Teams can remove the air filter, blow it clean from the inside surfaces using 40-60 PSI compressed air and have it race-ready over and over again in minutes. No more solvent cleaning, drying and oiling hassles.

Hooker Harness, Inc. was founded by innovator Jack Hooker. Jack began producing seatbelts and shoulder harnesses in New York in the early 1970’s. During the early years Jack produced a variety of harnesses primarily for the aviation industry. Through the years, Hooker Harness has become the most well-known and respected producer of Aerobatic seatbelts and shoulder harnesses. The aviation background in harness production provided the foundation for Hooker Harnesses emergence into the racing industry. The company was founded and maintains a commitment to quality, consistency, and customer service. These strong commitments go hand in hand with an FAA approved quality control system, which is monitored and reviewed by the FAA on a routine basis. The FAA requires Hooker Harness to perform in house routine testing of both materials and finished products. Hooker Harness uses the same quality control system in all forms of production, for both FAA and SFI approved products.

Cool Shirt® is designed to maintain or quickly return core body temperatures to normal levels, reducing heat-induced fatigue and the mental & physical error that it causes. It cools the body and allows it to radiate its heat, thus reducing the risk of heat stroke. Here’s how it works. Cool Shirt® contains more than 50 feet of medical grade capillary tubing securely stitched on the front and back of the shirt. It is connected to a compact cooling unit via insulated hose with quick, dry disconnects. The cooling unit contains ice, water and an internal pump that supplies cool water to the Cool Shirt® as it covers up to 40% of the body.

Arizona Sport Shirts are the original racing shirts. Established in Phoenix, Arizona in 1974, Arizona Sport Shirt now provides complete promotional and recognition merchandise from its spacious headquarters located at 100 Gasoline Alley in Indianapolis, Indiana. Arizona has pioneered printed shirt technology with the introduction of its line of fade-free inks. Arizona provides merchandise for more nationally known teams and racing entities than any other company. Arizona Sport Shirts is the high performance shirt specialist.

Five Star Fabricating was formed by Fran Prestay and Carl Schultz in the late 1970s in response to a need for innovative sheet metal products in stock car racing. The product line diversified and grew to include tough and durable thermoformed polypropylene, light weight hand-laid fiberglass and advanced composite race car body components, and durable vinyl graphics, quickly moving to the forefront of that industry. After becoming an industry leader in formed windows from existing branded polycarbonate, Five Star’s engineers devised improvements in composition and coatings that led to the development of our own superior line of polycarbonate, for a new standard in toughness, durability and weather resistance. No matter what your polycarbonate manufacturing needs, Five Star’s polycarbonate is the most technologically advanced solution.

Kooks Custom Headers provides high quality headers for street and drag racing applications. Kooks is well known for their quality and attention to fit. You won’t find a better performing header than a Kooks Custom Header. While known for their headers, Kooks also offers performance exhaust kits that hook up perfectly with their line of headers. Kooks also offers a complete line of racing mufflers in addition to their custom header products.

Envy Suspension & Race Consultants is the brainchild of renowned shock specialist Kirk Loudy. Established in 2007 and located in Rogersville, Tennessee, Envy Suspension works with a plethora of Super Late Model, Crate Late Model, and Open Wheel Modified teams to make their racecars handle better and go faster. Currently, Envy Suspension specializes in shock sales, re-valving, and shock repair associated with Integra Racing Shocks, Ohlins Shocks, AFCO Racing Shocks, and Genesis Racing Shocks. To assist “Captain Kirk” in providing his clientele with the best possible service, Envy Suspension has several top notch dynos in-house. Currently, our equipment includes a Roehrig 3vs Shock Dyno, Roehrig 10vs Shock Dyno, Rebel 2nd Generation Shock Dyno, and Roehrig Stand Alone Spring Dyno. All your PPE items can be Single Source through SISCO, assuring your specific products are available at all times. Keeping our customers informed of new innovative products is a daily part of our job. Join your Host – Cupid, that is actually Wesley Outland (Voice of FASTRAK) as he brings to you three of the top ”movers and shakers” of the tour and give you news and notes with happenings for FASTRAK as we get ever so closer to the season opening now re-scheduled Georgia Winternationals at the Toccoa (GA) Motor Speedway now set for March 9, 10, 11 2012!! As always the FK Rod Ends “FANS VOICE” feature will be utilized to let race fans calls in and comment on the guest panel or have questions to ask them as well. It should be a great show to celebrate Valentines Day 2012!!

<var></var>

Our first guest will be the driver of car #57 from Woodruff, SC “Lightnin” Lee Copper. Copper had a great finishing to close out the 2011 racing season with the FASTRAK Racing Series Tour. He was the Memorial Day “FASTRAK Triple Crown” Champion by 1 point over David Smith back in May but finally sealed the deal and got his big W of the year at the Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap,TN when he won Race Night #2 of the 2011 FASTRAK Grand Nationals and carried that momentum to a thrid place overall points finish in the FASTRAK Grand Nationals Point Standings which included a $250,000.oo purse in the 3 race series (One of the Biggest Grassroots Payouts in Racing Period). We’ll have him on the FK Rod Ends Hot-Line to discuss what his intentions our for the upcoming 2012 season and what its gonna take to get another Series Points title as he has won the FASTRAK Series Southeast/Mideast Championship in years past.

Matt Long resides from Concord, NC and works Full Time as a Marketing & Events Manager at the Charlotte Motor Speedway but he has another passion. Thats to get behind the wheel of the #25 FK Rod Ends, Heintz Performance, Circle K Rocket Chassis and travel the Southeast/Mideast region with the FASTRAK Racing Series. Though he didn’t broke through with a touring feature win in 2011. Long did show that he is a force to be reckoned with however with wins in 2011 in Heats and Consi Races. I honestly feel that Matt Long is gonna be a “break out” driver to watch in 2012 with the Tour as he plans or has intentions to run the entire FASTRAK Southeast/Mideast Touring Series schedule. We’ll talk to him about that, what he’s done over the winter to prepare for the upcoming season and even take calls from the fans also this Tuesday night.

David Watts from Buchanan, VA in the #04 Barry Wright Chassis is a driver I believe the FASTRAK Universe should keep their eyes on in 2012 with the “Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country”. He’s no stranger to getting into Victory Lane as he picked up wins last year at Natural Bridge Speedway and Eastside Speedway in the “Commonwealth State” of Virginia. He also made history as the winner of the Inaugural UBB Memorial 29 Race at Princeton (WV) Speedway which pocketed $2,900.oo to win but was a special event in honor of the 29 coal miners that perished in the Upper Big Branch Mine Disaster. I began to notice that after that win in mid August that David Watts began to step up he game and be there in the end more and more when it came down to the end and for the money in FASTRAK Touring races. He finally broke through and got his 1st FASTRAK Touring win in 2011 2nd overall September 24th when he dominated the 2nd leg of the “Dirt Late Model SUPERNATIONALS at the famed 1/2mile Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat,VA which ironically was the same facility where he pocketed touring win #1. We’ll have him as our final guest to find out whats on tap for 2012 and the #04 Watts racing team as like I said about Long I feel the way for Watts as the 2012 season kicks off at Toccoa in a few weeks.

Have a Happy Valentines Day 2012 from everyone at FASTRAK Companies International!!

Toccoa Speedway promoter Andy Hyde has been completing extensive remodeling and construction projects during the winter months including replacing all of the tracks outside guard railing, perimeter fencing and erecting a new scoring tower. In the course of the construction Hyde has faced several bouts of bad weather and other delays which have put the project completion severely behind schedule. “Andy and everybody has been working 7 days a week sun up to sun down when the weather would allow it and they have just run out of time. He and I spoke today and we talked with Stan Lester and we all agree it’s best to change the date now instead of waiting until the last minute and create problems for people planning to be here.” said Brad York Toccoa Speedway Director.
“We are certainly disappointed that we had to move the date because it was really building some momentum but we have to do what we think is going to be the best for everyone involved. I know that Andy has been working his tail off trying to get finished by the February dates but he has just had too much that he can’t control slow him down. We realize that there are some other things going on that weekend and we hate that we have to change our date but it was inevitable. But let me say that people that haven’t been to Toccoa are going to be in for a real surprise when they get there. Those guys have done so much with the track and facility. It is really going to be very nice when they get finished up and we will all arrive to a much nicer and safer facility because of all of their efforts.” commented FASTRAK Founder and CEO Stan Lester.
The event will simply change weekends with the schedule remaining exactly the same and with the same divisions on the card. Friday night, March 9th the track will be hosting an open practice session from 6 to 9 PM EST. On Saturday, March 10th the action gets underway early with gates opening at 10 AM; Drivers Meeting at 12 Noon and racing beginning PROMPTLY at 1 PM. All 4 classes will each qualify and run heat races during the Saturday program. Sunday, March 11th will be Georgia Winter Nationals Championship Day. All 4 classes will also run last chance qualifiers (as needed) and compete in their feature event. Along with a nice payday all 4 winners will take home a 5 foot tall Georgia Winter Nationals Champion’s trophy. Gates will once again open at 10 AM, Drivers Meeting at 12 Noon with racing set to begin PROMPTLY at 1 PM. “We need to make sure that everyone understands that we are going to be on the track Saturday and Sunday by 1 so that we can get everything done and get folks out before it gets colder. We will need the drivers’ cooperation to keep things moving along so we can get done by 6 each day.” Added Lester
Admission prices for all three days as follows: Friday: Grandstands – FREE / Pit Pass – $10 – Saturday: Grandstands – $18 / Pit Pass – $25 – Sunday: Grandstands $23 / Pit Pass – $25. Kids under 12 are FREE all 3 days. Grandstand patrons can also stop in and pick up $3 off coupons in multiple locations including Quality Foods in Toccoa, SWIFTCO Supply in Elberton, the FASTRAK Corporate Office in Carnesville and McDonalds in Lavonia. The coupon is good for $3 off of admission in the GRANDSTANDS ONLY on Saturday and Sunday. The coupons can also be found in other locations around the Toccoa / Lavonia / Elberton / Carnesville area as well. “We want to encourage all the race fans to stop in and get coupons at these locations. We appreciate their support and want them to come out and enjoy a good time at the races.” Lester concluded.

(Four Oaks,NC) You know they always say that after the Super Bowl in February its really the final countdown for racing fans all over the country to dust off their foam padded seats if they have one. Or maybe start stocking their cooler with their favorite food and refreshment’s to go to the track. Race teams and drivers they are going through their cars with a ”fine tooth comb” to make sure everything is perfect for their first time out for 2012 and getting their minds focused on the season and what can and will lie ahead. Whether its NASCAR, NHRA or even “The Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country” FASTRAK Racing Series or “Premier Touring Series of the Southeast” ULTIMATE Super Series we know and they do to that its time for RACING to shine once again and the quest for the money or the check or that trophy like the New York Giants captured for them is set to begin!! When you listeners from all over the globe tune into FASTRAK Weekly LIVE Presented by FK Rod Ends this Tuesday night February 7th at 7PM EST for ”The Fastest Hour on DIRT Radio”. It will also be T-Minus 10 days and counting to the history making event at theToccoa Speedway in the “Peach State” for the Georgia Winternationals!! Listen in as ”The Voice of FASTRAK” Wesley Outland syndicates the only motorsports radio forum for the FASTRAK Companies International family from the headquarters of the FASTRAK Radio Network in Four Oaks, NC in what we all refer it as the “FASTRAK Shack”!

“Hollywood” David Smith has had a very impressive career in his racing life. From running the old NASCAR Sportsman Series and winning at big venues like Charlotte Motor Speedway. To racing at the beginning of what we call now the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series when he raced in it was the original name NASCAR Super Trucks Series back in the early 90s at Tuscon, AZ. To driving on the dirt in Super Late Models and many other types of accomplishments he’s done. He says he just simply loves FASTRAK and what Stan Lester and Company are doing for Pro Late Models dirt racing in general to make it successful. David has also had great stats with the 9 year series FASTRAK as he was the 2010 Old Mans Garage Southeast Touring Champion and was in the Top 5 two years running in the City Chevrolet Weekly Racing Division to being the Wythe Dominator as he pocketed 3 wins in 2011 at a track he’s struggled at for so many years but couldn’t seal the deal he pulled off the hat-trick. We’ll have his thoughts on the upcoming season and what gonna stay the same or change on the #11 Hi-Bridge Automotive TNT Chassis from Inman, SC.

He’s simply known as “The Man of Steel” and resides from Rock Hill, SC and drives the Yellow #2. Well he did until 2011 when he decided to wrap his car a new color and went from yellow to a solid white color and a blue numerical deuce. However the nickname still remained the same even after wrap jobs on the Barry Wright. Chris Steele will be planning on trying to make every attempt to make the FASTRAK Southeast/Mideast Touring Series events in 2012. He’s no slouch either racing on the dirt and isn’t afraid to get down and dirty with the “movers and shakers” on the FASTRAK circuit if needed to if somebody dents the “Steel” of Steele. He’ll be joining Wesley Outland on the hot-line to discuss whats going on for 2012 and his quest to make it to the FASTRAK World Championships where still that race is in exhale in anticipation of being announced!

Parker Herring is a good ole Georgia boy and he ain’t afraid to say it. He resides from the small town of Hartwell, GA and calls FASTRAK Sanctioned facility Hartwell Motor Speedway his home court. On June 25th 2011 he picked up his first career FASTRAK Touring Series victory in the Inaugural Charlie Mize Memorial which was a success all across the board in honor of the memory of a driver, announcer, promoter in the dirt racing fraternity. Parker Herring who is also one class act driver and tried to make as many races on the Southeast Tour he could but he backed out after the shocking Hartwell Touring victory and went on track with Randy McCoy’s tour to get the 2011 Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series Championship. Remember the (SELMSS) will be at the Georgia Winternationals competing for 3,000.oo to win with FASTRAK $5,000.oo racing weekend at Toccoa Speedway. Outland will have him on the line and getting he’s thought for whats on tap for 2012 and the #117 racing team.

Carnesville, Georgia – The FASTRAK Racing Series along with Toccoa Speedway and the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series proudly announce the 1st Annual Georgia Winter Nationals. For the first time in the history these 3 Georgia racing stalwarts will come together to produce a huge winter months spectacular. The Georgia Winter Nationals will feature a $5000 to win event for the FASTRAK Pro Late Models along with a $3000 to win show for the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series. Also on the card will be the Street Stocks and the 4 Cylinder Pony Cars who will each be gunning for a $500 to win increased purse. “We have been trying to put together this event for a couple of years and it has just never worked out. We had been trying to find a location somewhere down south in Florida or south Georgia but we decided that it made more sense to everyone to be closer to our core group of racers and what better venue than the historic Toccoa Speedway? So we are looking forward to a great turnout and some good racing.” said Stan Lester of FASTRAK.

Friday night, February 17th the track will be hosting an open practice session from 6 to 9 PM EST. On Saturday the action gets underway early with gates opening at 10 AM, Drivers Meeting at 12 Noon and racing beginning PROMPTLY at 1 PM. All 4 classes will each qualify and run heat races during the Saturday program. Sunday will be Georgia Winter Nationals Championship Day. All 4 classes will run last chance qualifiers (as needed) and compete in their feature event.
