Carnesville, Georgia – The FASTRAK Racing Series along with Toccoa Speedway and the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series proudly announce the 1^st Annual Georgia Winter Nationals. For the first time in the history these 3 Georgia racing stalwarts will come together to produce a huge winter months spectacular. The Georgia Winter Nationals will feature a $5000 to win event for the FASTRAK Pro Late Models along with a $3000 to win show for the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series. Also on the card will be the Street Stocks and the 4 Cylinder Pony Cars who will each be gunning for a $500 to win increased purse. “We have been trying to put together this event for a couple of years and it has just never worked out. We had been trying to find a location somewhere down south in Florida or south Georgia but we decided that it made more sense to everyone to be closer to our core group of racers and what better venue than the historic Toccoa Speedway? So we are looking forward to a great turnout and some good racing.” said Stan Lester of FASTRAK.

Friday night, February 17^th the track will be hosting an open practice session from 6 to 9 PM EST. On Saturday the action gets underway early with gates opening at 10 AM, Drivers Meeting at 12 Noon and racing beginning PROMPTLY at 1 PM. All 4 classes will each qualify and run heat races during the Saturday program. Sunday will be Georgia Winter Nationals Championship Day. All 4 classes will run last chance qualifiers (as needed) and compete in their feature event. Along with a nice payday all 4 winners will take home a 5 foot tall Georgia Winter Nationals Champion’s trophy. Gates will once again open at 10 AM, Drivers Meeting at 12 Noon with racing set to begin PROMPTLY at 1 PM. “We need to make sure that everyone understands that we are going to be on the track Saturday and Sunday by 1 so that we can get everything done and get folks out before it gets colder. We will need the drivers’ cooperation to keep things moving along so we can get done by 6 each day.” Added Lester

Admission prices for all three days as follows: Friday: Grandstands – FREE / Pit Pass – $10 – Saturday: Grandstands – $18 / Pit Pass – $25 – Sunday: Grandstands $23 / Pit Pass – $25. Kids under 12 are FREE all 3 days.
