Modoc, S.C. (May 7, 2010) – After charging to the lead from his third-place starting position on the first lap of Friday night’s Old Man’s Garage FASTRAK Late Model Series race, Blake Bentley of Duncan, S.C., put on a dominating performance at Modoc Speedway. The rookie driver led every lap on his way to claiming his first FASTRAK touring series victory.

Albert Cosnahen started from the pole after turning the fastest lap in time trails and looked underneath Bentley a few times during the early portions of the 40-lap race. But by lap 10, the Metter, Ga., driver’s car began to fade while Bentley pulled away.

Cosnahen held off a late charge from David Smith of Inman, S.C., crossing the finish line just inches ahead of the veteran driver to earn the runner-up finish.

Smith was forced to settle for third, and was followed across the stripe by Royce Bray of Hull, Ga., in fourth and John Henderson of Aiken, Ga., in the fifth position.
